I just like to put on record that this is the first time (and it's NIGHT) that I used my dad's car. I'm still feeling the rush because this is what they call growing up. It's not really a big deal for other people, but it is for me because I knew I could imagine the feeling but I haven't really felt the actual feeling of growing up. Maybe I'm a late bloomer, or maybe it's even the cup of coffee I bought from Starbucks, but it's exhilarating. I'll be doing this from now on? On an additional note, I got tired sending resumes online this afternoon. Ahh yes, adulthood. Labels: blogs

Despite the numerous errors and with no prior practice, I passed! Today feels like a birthday. My nerves are shot afterward too. It's a great day!

TITLE: to where should I go?

I can't describe how there's something wrong in my family right now. My dad hints that he wants to go home in heaven. Mom hints that she wants to leave the house one day. And both my mom and dad aren't getting along well with my sister-in-law. My brother is quiet and I are quiet and we're not really talking too much to each other. My younger sister is barely at home too. I'm getting nervous about post-graduation and I'm not getting the hours that I need, so I want to just get away from this tense atmosphere. Cable's broke right now and the shed needs work which adds irritation to my dad who's maintaining his sugar so he can't eat what he wants to eat. He truly tells that he doesn't mind going to heaven, because he has insurance and because he can't enjoy life anymore now that his diet has been significantly affected. He's not happy anymore. Mom says she's not happy too with how things are happening in our home, and she's still looking for a job. She's been laid off last month, and she needs to wait until September. I need to wait for October to proceed to my convocation and get my diplomas. It's hard to live in a household of 'troubleshooters'. And after 11 years of hard-work, such as studying and working hard to sustain my own future, this is what I get? Burned out family with a looming disharmony. Then my passion gets destroyed when Photobucket ruined my outlet for creativity after 12 years. It's difficult to find enthusiasm if life is like this -- especially when home no longer feels like home. Labels: blogs

TITLE: Photobucket sucks now

First, I'd like to thank Photobucket for hosting my images for a more than 10 years. Second, I've only used Photobucket and they've been a reliable asset. Third, my opinion of them has changed after they've suddenly changed their Terms of Use this past June 28. They no longer host images to third party unless the customer pays $400 annually -- which feels like a ransom. It will take a lot of time for me to rebuild my websites by re-linking every image I've posted in the last 12 years. This affected 95% of my websites except for those few located in Blogdrive. I've decided to re-link the ~ef fan page first because this place is my primary blog space.
I tell you, it almost felt like my life was sucked out when Photobucket replaced all of my images with their watermark and I had to completely shut off every blog I have. They're more than 200 sprawled across the Internet. I only discovered it two days after their TOS changed. They could've at least warned their customer or gave proper notice before changing everything so that everyone could decide what to do. But no. And just when I've been leaning toward a paid subscription, with their ridiculous $400/yr, I'm no longer sticking to Photobucket. I'm going to have to salvage every image I've used and go to another cloud server. I'll be willing to pay for my account as well. If Photobucket could offer something like $9/mo and allow third party linking, then I'd gladly stick with them.
If you notice that parts of the site have that Photobucket watermark or if you can't access some parts of the ~ef fansite, that's because I'm still working on restoring the links so they'll remain closed. For now. Lesson learned.
