Saturday was crazy. I woke up 8am, 2 hours too early, I heard my ate's toddler crying. I didn't want to get up, and I called my little sister via cellphone to attend to her. She likes so much. I just couldn't go back to sleep afterwards. And my head was throbbing with a headache. I just told myself to hold out for today until the evening and go sleep when I come home. I felt like I couldn't go fasting this Saturday, because I might collapse in the office. So I had breakfast and left home at 10:30am.
I was all smiles when they gave me the easy project. I worked on it without grumbling as it was relatively the lighter load. The high profile study for the city of Calgary was really difficult. I didn't want to work on it at 11am. After two hours in the office, I felt really drowsy and with my head feeling heavy. My head was throbbing with a faint headache, and I felt like I was going to pass out. But I had a nosebleed instead. While I was on the phone, I had a nosebleed and I didn't know whether to laugh or go home. How could I go home? After the call, I just walked to the washroom to check myself. And then I went back to the office.
I was just minding my own business and my own computer. But I had a good run. Around 3pm, they needed help. So I offered my help. 3:45pm, I took my break. And then I went back at 4pm. I took my break again at 4:45pm. And I went back at 5:15pm. I couldn't leave the work hanging, even though they dismissed us early, so I had to stay until 6pm. Ironically, I was feeling better and the headache was gone.
I was still 30 minutes early for my bus, so I grabbed a cup of coffee. And I shake my head for making such a miscalculation; I totally forgot that they were preparing downtown for the Juno awards. I had two buses on my way home, but the stops were on opposite blocks. I chose the faster bus, but then because of the Juno awards, the Portage street was closed. The faster bus was rerouted on the opposite block and so I was waiting for nothing while both of the bus going home were sneaking past behind me at the opposite block. I shook my head, but I'm glad it's not that cold outside. I walked to a bus stop where all three buses home converge and the schedule said that the next one will arrive around 20 minutes.
With time to kill and the feeling of using the washroom, I decided to stroll back to the office and use the washrooms there, then go back to the bus stop. It worked. I did cardio on the spot.
At home, I received news that our water heater broke down. I checked the water tank and it was leaking. Hassle. They'll replace it tomorrow morning. I was just too exhausted to do anything else. I just made it past the office without passing out, and wandered around the downtown for an hour, I didn't grab a bite and I chose to go to bed. This bed.
